- 500g of fresh prawns, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup of coconut milk

- 1 tablespoon of coriander powder

medium heat. Add the bay leaf, cardamom pods, cloves, and cinnamon stick
and fry for a few seconds until fragrant.
- Add the chopped onions and fry until they are
soft and translucent. Add the ginger paste, garlic paste, and green
chilies and fry for another minute.
- Add the cumin powder, coriander powder,
turmeric powder, red chili powder, sugar, and salt. Mix well and fry for a
minute or two until the spices are fragrant.
- Add the prawns and stir well. Fry for a
minute or two until the prawns are slightly browned.
- Add the coconut milk and stir well. Let it
come to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes
until the prawns are cooked through and the curry has thickened.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve
